When you’re prepared to have your engagement session at a moments notice, it can seem a little stressful! On top of wondering if the skies will open up and completely drench your entire session! The weeks, days, and even hours leading up to Olivia & Matt’s Fairfield Lakes Spring engagement session were a bit scary! The forecast had been calling for basically a 100% chance of complete downpour. We were totally prepared for that to happen and we just had to accept our fate. But I kid you not, right before their session, the rain got pushed back to later in the evening! Ahhhh! We finally had a short window of time for them, free of rain! Right after Olivia had finished hair and make up, we booked it straight to the park! 

When we arrived, we were SO excited to see that the park had finally started to look like Spring! We had some green on the trees and some tall golden grass! On top of that, Olivia and Matt wore the perfect Spring colors AND it was 60 something degrees out! Talk about happy photographers!

It has been 6 or 7 years since I last saw Olivia, but we picked up right where we left off without missing a beat! We attended the same high school, but we never really had any classes together and our lockers were forever apart!! And now, here we were! Out in the middle of a field, on a beautiful spring day, just casually hanging out! I absolutely love when life works out like that! Olivia & Matt, thank you so much for being so flexible and open to any last minute changes! You two had such a fun chemistry that was so effortless and easy to photograph! Tanner & I can’t wait to get you both in front of the camera again in September!
