On Sunday, Tanner and I drove up to Logansport for Stephanie & Ryan’s France Park engagement session! The last time we shot at France Park was in 2015, and the moment Steph told me how special this place was to her and Ryan, we knew it would be the PERFECT location for their engagement session! Plus it meant that we got to enjoy views from the most beautiful place in the midwest! I mean seriously! Just look a this place! Steph and Ryan are super adventurous people! So France Park is an amazing place for them to go scuba diving, hiking, and maybe (if they’re feeling brave and crazy) even jump off a cliff or two!

During the first meeting I had with Steph & Ryan, it was very obvious how comfortable they were around each other! They couldn’t have been more themselves! Especially Ryan! Right off the bat I knew he was a very straightforward, open guy! Steph laughed (aka rolled her eyes lovingly) at every single one of his not-so-subtle jokes! (They know what I mean, and I’ll just leave it at that haha)! Within the first 10 minutes of meeting them, I knew our relationship was going to be a breeze. If both of them were already comfortable enough around me to be themselves, just wait until their engagement session!

I swear, I’ve never seen a bride laugh as hard or as much as Stephanie! The first photo we took was a standard “looking at the camera” test shot, and the next frame was Steph busting out laughing (thanks Ryan)! He seriously knows exactly what to do and say and we love him for it! When the groom is the one making her laugh, and not the photographers, you know it’s going to be an amazing session!

Steph & Ryan, France Park was the dreamiest location ever and we are SO happy to have gotten to spend the evening with you! I can’t wait to see what kind of jokes you pull on the wedding day to make her smile! Get ready because in just 3 short weeks, we’ll be celebrating your backyard wedding with you!
