Happy Tuesday, friends! I’m so excited to share Victoria & Kaleb’s Golden Hour Fairfield Lakes engagement session with you! If you haven’t been to the lakes yet, you have to go! It is SO incredibly beautiful at sunset! It’s just outside of Lafayette, Indiana, near Dayton & Mulberry! No excuses, with a day as amazing as today, take your sweetheart and your kiddos for a stroll!

I’ve known these two since my freshman year of high school and it’s crazy to think that they’ll be tying the knot in October! Kaleb & Tori took a trip to Florida last year and he surprised her with a proposal on the beach at sunset! I still remember seeing their proposal video on Facebook and tearing up over it! I LOVE proposals, but when they’re long time friends of mine, it just makes it extra special!

When we arrived to their Fairfield Lakes engagement session, the first thing they both said was how nervous they were! I could see it for about the first 5 minutes, but after that, they started getting the hang of it! After all, it’s definitely not the easiest thing being in front of the camera! By the time they changed into their second outfit, I felt SO confident that they could rock ANY pose I gave them, so we tried a pose that I RARELY do, just because it can be so awkward, and that picture is one of my favorite engagement photos ever! Portfolio worthy, in my opinion! Can you guess which one?! You’ll just have to scroll down to find out!

I had such a fun time with them, and afterwards we went back to their home for a little mini sesh in their yellow flower field! I got to meet their adorable pups AND see their incredible backyard where their reception will be held! In case you didn’t know, backyard receptions are where it’s at! Tori & Kaleb, I am so so so happy for you two! I’m just counting down the days until I get to see you on your wedding day!
