This Holliday Park Indianapolis Engagement session is hands down, one I will never forget! Does everyone remember that heat wave we had for about a week back in July? Well, Chelsea & Travis’ session was smack dab in the middle of it… on the hottest day we had all summer. Yikes. Even though we were all sweating bullets, they were such great sports and they still managed to look completely amazing!! I am SO impressed with them! I seriously don’t think I would have made it through the whole session if it weren’t for these two! They truly made my job super easy and super fun that day.

When Chelsea suggested Holliday Park as their location, I immediately went to the internet to see images of this magical place! Jaw-dropping, unique, & perfect, were just a few words that came to mind. So, needless to say, I was crazy looking forward to our engagement session from the moment we scheduled it! Chelsea even mentioned that she goes to Holliday Park basically every day on her lunch break. So when she said how peaceful it was, I was even more excited. Less crowded = more photo ops! But when we pulled in, police were directing traffic and the parking lot was pretty much at full capacity! What was going on!? Was there a private event happening, were we even allowed to be there?!

As it turns out, there was a public concert happening behind the ruins of Holliday Park! Even though it was a bit crowded, everyone was on the opposite side of the park, plus… we had live music playing during our session!! I’d take that trade off any day! With everything going on that day, from the insane heat, to the crowd, to Travis having to leave for work right after our session, it could have been a bad day. But Chelsea & Travis were SO determined to beat the heat! They cuddled up like it was no big deal! And now we know that if they can handle that engagement session, they can handle any curveballs their wedding might throw at them!

Chelsea & Travis, I LOVED every second of our time together, with or without the less than perfect weather! You. Are. Troopers!! I am beyond excited to see you again! Except next time it’ll be on your chilly, crisp, autumn, wedding day!!
