It was supposed to rain all day during their Indiana Summer Engagement Session. Keeping our eyes on the weather every few minutes, we really considered rescheduling, but when they pulled up for their session, there wasn’t a cloud in sight! We got so lucky! We drove out to the middle of Nowhere, Indiana to spend the evening together! And I’m glad we did because I have a new favorite location now!

You know those couples, the ones whose faces light up when they smile at you? Well, that is Ashleigh and Josh! To. a. T! When they walked up for their engagement session — looking so amazing, I might add! — I remembered why I fell in love with them over coffee so many months ago… and that’s the same reason why I’ve been so excited to finally get them in front of my camera!

Not only are Ashleigh & Josh SUCH a gorgeous couple, but Ashleigh is also a photographer based out of Kokomo! And you know how that is! Do I even have to explain how much of an honor it is to be chosen by another photographer!?  Josh is a pretty quiet guy, so I’m sure being in front of the camera was a little nerve wracking for him. Ashleigh too, even! I mean hey, photographers are photographers because they don’t like to be the one in front of the camera! But seriously, all I had to go was ask Josh to just look at Ashleigh, and he would light up like crazy! Probably because Ashleigh has the most infectious smile and laughter of anyone I’ve ever met!

Ashleigh and Josh… guys, WOW! You ROCKED this session! Thank you for adventuring with me to a new location and braving the tall grass that liked to wrap itself around our ankles and leave crazy scratch marks. Fingers crossed that none of us will trip as much during your wedding! I had the BEST time with you! I love you both tons and tons, and I can’t WAIT until your wedding in just a few short weeks!
