The day before Tanya & Max’s spring Fairfield Lakes engagement session, Tanner and I went to their scheduled location to go for a walk, only to find out that the entire park was flooded! Now, I don’t just mean puddles everywhere, I mean the parking lot was drowned in feet of water! We had SO much rain this past week! I’m so glad Tanner and I found out about the high water the day before their session rather than minutes before! But honestly, I started to panic a little bit. I was so excited to see Tanya & Max again that I really didn’t want to reschedule due to floods! So, off we went to find a new location! Our backup location… flooded. Our backup backup location… flooded! Fast forward 3 locations and 45 minutes later and we finally found a park that wasn’t underwater! Fairfield Lakes engagement session, here we come!
I always know that we’re a good fit with our couples when I have to constantly check the time to make sure we stay on schedule, because I could easily get distracted by talking to them for hours! Tanya and Max are so fun and lovable. Tanner and I enjoyed our session with them so much that we used up every last drop of daylight!! When Tanya & Max arrived, I knew immediately that this was going to be a great engagement session. There was just something about them that made it so effortless to connect & joke with them! Their entire session was so relaxed and FULL of laughs. After our Fairfield lakes engagement session, I truly felt like I had known these two for years!
Tanya & Max, we had the BEST time with you two! It is one of our favorite engagement sessions to date! You’re both SO fun to be around and we cannot wait for your Lighthouse Lodge on Lake Shafer wedding! If your special day is anything at all like your engagement session, GREAT things are in store for you!
P.S. For any brides-to-be wondering where Tanya got that drop dead gorgeous dress, it’s from Rent the Runway! The online shop where you can rent designer outfits for a fraction of the cost!
