I’ve been looking forward to Liz & Clint’s Spring family session ALL year! And last weekend it finally happened! A few days before their Spring family session, I Skyped with the Liz & the kids just to get to know them a little more and figure out how I can make their session completely them! Very quickly I realized their session was going to be packed full of energy! But hey, what more could I expect from three wild kids!? We also found out before their session that Clint used to be my landlord before they moved up north! When Liz sent me a photo of their family, I immediately recognized Clint! How could I forget the coolest & funniest landlord ever?! From then on, I just knew their Spring family session was going to be the most incredible session of the year!

With every family session, I fall more and more love with this kind of environment, and Liz & Clint’s session was no exception. Family photography is not easy you guys! I thought weddings were a lot of work (and they are), but it’s a whole different level with families! They’re super high energy, you have to be ready to pivot in a heartbeat (thank goodness their littlest one didn’t bust his lip open this time!), you have to keep everyone’s attention, and so many other little things that add up to a perfect session! And I love it. I truly do love every second spent during family sessions.

Getting home and looking back through the photos… it’s just all smiles for me! Seeing how much fun they had as a family gets me every time. And parents… you guys are amazing! I need a nap after every family session and yet you do this every day! The parents deserve to have an amazing and memorable family session more than anyone, and I am SO happy that I get to be apart of that!

Liz & Clint, I will never ever forget how awesome your Spring family session was! Even if we took away the perfect outfit choices, the beautiful weather, and the one green location in Lafayette…  you would still have had an amazing session because your family is beautiful inside and out!
