This past weekend, we had AMAZING weather for Katie & Dallas’ Golden Hour Maternity Session! I just had to get out and test some new gear, but I didn’t have any subjects or any particular idea in mind. So naturally, I looked to Facebook for takers! Katie’s friend had tagged her in my status asking for test subjects. You know what Katie replied with? She said “I’d love to, but I’m too pregnant and don’t think I would fit into any cute dresses.”

I was so sad to hear that because after “creeping” for a minute, I found out that not only is she TOO beautiful for her own good, but also that her boyfriend, Dallas, used to be my coworker back when we were teenagers! I had long forgotten about that job, so this was quite a surprise and a trip down memory lane. Lucky for me, Dallas, being the wonderful boyfriend he is, convinced Katie to take me up on my offer! I was soooo excited! For the past 4 months, ALL of my sessions had been scheduled on a cloudy day! Can you believe it!? Finally we were going to have that beautiful golden hour light in our photos!

Dallas and Katie showed up with huge smiles and were ready to cuddle! They were cute, confident, and had an awesome sense of humor! I had such a great evening photographing these two! Hopefully our paths will cross again someday!
