Annie & Forrest’s Holliday Park spring engagement session was SO beautiful! I was in photographer heaven! Gorgeous colors everywhere, soft & amazing light, and not a single other person in sight! Unfortunately for Annie & Forrest, they got the short end of the stick. It. Was. FREEZING.  As in, it snowed later that evening, freezing. Annie was SO excited about a spring session that she wore the most adorable dresses for a springtime date! Which I still think was the right choice, but just imagine how cold she and Forrest must have been! And they powered through it without one single complaint! You really can’t ask for much more!

As we were walking around during their Holliday Park spring engagement session, we got to talking and I found out one awesome piece of information about them that totally made my heart sing! Annie & Forrest are hardcore night owls! And if you know me, you know that I’m the most hardcore night owl there is! As in, its a rare night if I go to bed before the sun comes up! I’m just so much more productive at night! I never meet people that stay up as late as I do, so finding this out made me happier than ever!

At first, Annie was pretty reserved, and I could tell that Forrest was only there to make his beautiful fiancée happy (like most of our guys). But seriously, half way through their session I think it just clicked for them! I started seeing all the natural giggles, all the flirting, all the tickling and cute nuzzling! It was great! More than great even! It was amazing! Especially considering how cold they were! Annie & Forrest, I had an awesome time with you guys!! You two are so sweet to each other! I’m so excited for your wedding, not just because we won’t be freezing, but because you two have such strong chemistry! Just imagine how easy & fun portrait time will feel when you don’t have goosebumps and numb fingers!
