The Kentucky Mushroom Festival is a magical event filled with learning, fun, and surprise around every corner. People came together to celebrate all things mushrooms, from tiny beginners to longtime fungi lovers. There were workshops on how to grow many kinds of mushrooms, like lion’s mane, reishi, and turkey tail. Each class was easy to follow and full of helpful information that made mushrooms feel exciting and possible for everyone.

The festival had so many unique activities that made it feel like a dream. There were cooking workshops where mushrooms were turned into delicious meals, along with information sessions that taught how mushrooms support health and nature. At night, UV reactive hikes made the forest glow, and shooting stars lit up the sky. There was even Dungeons and Dragons mushroom role play AND goat yoga, which brought lots of laughs and joy.

One of the most meaningful parts of the festival was meeting a very special new friend who truly changed my outlook on life. Through deep conversation and shared moments, I was reminded of the beauty of connection and being open to new perspectives. The Kentucky Mushroom Festival wasn’t just an event—it was an experience full of wonder, learning, and moments that will stay with me forever. 🍄✨
