The day before the AMAZING solar eclipse, I went down to Bloomington for Evangeline & Collin’s Sample Gates engagement session! The day started off with beautiful, warm, sunny weather! But on the way to Bloomington, I had my windows down and music blaring, and I noticed it just kept getting warmer and warmer. By the time I arrived, it had gotten super hot out! It was no big deal though because I knew we were going to have a session so amazing and so fun, that nothing could bring it down! Since my first meeting with Evangeline & Collin at good ol’ Starbucks, I’ve been dreaming about their Sample Gates engagement session!

Bloomington is near and dear to their hearts because these two first met at IU during their freshman chemistry course! So of course, it was a no-brainer that we HAD to shoot their engagement session on IU’s campus! We spent most of our time at Sample Gates and the Student Union, but I couldn’t help going off the plan just a bit! Every single corner of campus is completely unique and beautiful! It was SO hard to remember that we were on a time constraint and couldn’t hit every single location on campus. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t want to!

These two are both so energetic and upbeat that every second of our session was packed full of fun! After strolling around campus for the evening, these two surprised me with a pizza dinner date at Bucceto’s! Because everyone knows that pizza is the fastest way to my heart! Evangeline & Collin, I had an INCREDIBLE time with you two! I can only imagine how fun and exciting your wedding will be! Everything you’re planning is going to blow my expectations out of the water, I just know it! I am SO excited to see you again and every day we’re one day closer!
