My heart is all about connection & authenticity... "candids", if you will. I'm not here for the ultra-posed, smiling at the camera photos. Your children will get better and better at smiling at the camera until that's all you get from them. But right now, they play, they cuddle, they kiss, they hang upside down on you! And those moments are more precious than any posed photo will ever be. I treat each session as a story; a visual story that moves your soul. One that makes you nostalgic. One that illustrates your rich, authentic world. One that represents the heart of your family. I'm here to preserve your real life moments for you & your children to look back on as your lives venture forward.

I'm talking about your children's memories too. Your kids are going to grow up remembering how much fun they had with you during their yearly family session. They're going to remember the way you kissed, snuggled, and chased after them. And at some point, they're going to grow too big to able to give them piggy back rides or toss them high in the air. Family sessions are not just about the photos, they're about the actual experiences you share as a family. But having tangible memories of those experiences to pass on to your kids one day sure is a nice bonus.

I fell in love with photography 10 years ago. But it wasn't until 2017 that I fell in love with the chaotic nature of family photography. I love capturing beautiful images, but I know that pictures aren't my true purpose... people are!
