I don’t photograph seniors often, but when I do (see where this is going!?)… Photographing Emily’s Creekside Senior Session was awesome! She’s a senior at McCutcheon High School and has a passion for wedding photography! Maybe that’s why I like her so much! haha

While Em was trying to decide on a location, she sent me a link to an engagement session I did back in October. That was the spot. A charming little river covered in trees. The land was private property, so I quickly emailed the couple and asked if they’d be okay with me shooting there again. And because they’re such amazing people, they were thrilled that Emily loved the location so much (thanks Gabbi & Eric)!

We headed over to the river Monday evening (with our fingers crossed that it wouldn’t start raining), to find out that the water had risen SO much! We had only a little bit of ground to work on, and it was located right in the middle of the river. So of course, because she’s so awesome, Emily walked right in to the freezing water, across slippery rocks, all to get to that little spot in the middle! And I followed. Only she was wearing water proof shoes, and I was wearing fabric boots, but hey, gotta do what you gotta do, right?
