Can you say “obsessed”?! Because I can, and I will. Abby & Matt’s West Park Engagement session was the BEST way to kick off the month of June! Not only have these two been nothing but sweethearts to me since our first email, but you can really feel the commitment they share. I don’t know how to explain it! If they were standing in front of you, you’d instantly think, “they’re soulmates”. On top of all of this, we had a GREAT evening!! Once again, Indiana called for thunderstorms and they barely missed us! Instead, we got to see a beautiful blue and pink sunset! The perfect way to end the first day of June!

We started their West Park Engagement session by shooting in Sophia Square in Carmel! It was a cute little courtyard in the apartment complex where they met! We even took a quick elevator ride up to the 2nd floor, the same floor where they would pass each other in the halls before they started dating! I absolutely loved this tiny little section of their engagement session! Getting to see the actual spot where Abby & Matt started falling in love was just so special!

For the second half of the session, we headed over to West Park, and you could really see the storm rolling in! But you guys, West Park is my new favorite place. It was such a stunning nature area! So stunning that I have TWO images from their engagement session that I put in my portfolio (and I basically never add images, so this is a big deal to me)! And I mean, it helps that Abby & Matt are such a good looking couple too 😉
