On Sunday, I met Beth & Jimmy for the first time for their Olivery Winery Engagement Session in Bloomington! They decided they wanted to do something different for their session. How could they do something unique while maybe incorporating their love for wine? (Wink haha) Have an Oliver Winery Engagement Session, of course!  I was SO excited to finally meet these amazing people, but as luck would have it, Bloomington would get hit by a huge thunderstorm between 5 and 6pm… the exact time of our session! It never fails! I will never escape the rain!!

We started our session inside the winery, and while it was super beautiful, it just didn’t match my style as well as the outdoor space. And this right here is the best part… Beth & Jimmy were 100% on board when I asked if we could step outside… in the rain! No no no… They weren’t just on board… they were EXCITED to have their session in the rain! Oliver Winery has gorgeous outdoor spaces so we took full advantage of every corner! And after getting super drenched, we headed inside to get to know each other over some wine tasting!

Beth and Jimmy’s engagement session was the most unique session I’ve ever shot! Everything about it matched their personalities, too! From the location and rain, to Beth’s quirky converse shoes, right down to her white sapphire, recycled engagement ring! I’m so glad they were willing to go with the flow and not let a bunch of rain ruin their day! And guess what? Their Summer Bloomington Wedding was ALL shine and no rain!
